The Library and Knowledge Service runs a series of Training Sessions for NHS staff and students on placement with the Trust. Sessions are free and a certificate is provided for inclusion in your CPD records and Revalidation evidence.

This gives an overview of the resources available through the NHS internet-based portal and focuses on techniques for searching key resources including NHS OpenAthens e-books and e-journals.

This session focuses on how to search NHS OpenAthens online databases including Medline, CINAHL and PsycInfo to find evidence to support patient care.
Finding the Best Evidence: Systematic Reviews and the Cochrane Collection
An introduction to finding the best quality evidence using online information resources such as the Cochrane Library.
