Principles and guidelines
All programmes of medical education and training developed and delivered by the Trust are guided by - and mapped to - the Health Education England (HEE) Quality Framework, The General Medical Council (GMC) Promoting Excellence: Standards for Medical Education & Training and the curriculum requirements determined by the Royal College aligned to each specialty area. Internal opportunities and courses*fees apply : We arrange and offer half day, single day or two day courses that contribute credits to Doctors’ self-directed continuous professional development (CPD) to maintain their requirements for yearly appraisal. Working with Health Education England we aim to support and empower learners in order to benefit the safety and quality of care for patients and the public.
