MWL Libraries are now part of the NoW consortium of NHS libraries in the North West of England.

The catalogue includes eBooks in your home library's stock which are accessible with an OpenAthens account.

You can also reserve items and view your account via the catalogue. To set up a password, click the catalogue link, Log In and Forgot Password.

If the book you want is held at the other hospital site we can have it sent across to the library on your site for collection. Just let us know.

If we don't have the book that you are looking for within the NoW consortium, we also offer an interlibrary loan service. We can borrow the book that you require on your behalf from another library, this will be subject to the lending library's terms and conditions.

We can provide you with a barcode label or an electronic barcode to enable you to use our new self-issue terminals at Southport and Ormskirk libraries, giving you the ability to check books in and out at any time.
