IT @ The Hanley Library, Southport Hospital

The IT Suite is an IT training facility within the Hanley Library, with PCs and an interactive white board.

When it is not booked it is a drop-in facility for staff and students to access a computer: check email, access the internet and the Trust intranet, use MS Office software, complete online learning and carry out printing and scanning. Staff can also book a PC to complete e-learning such as statutory and mandatory training.

In addition to the IT Suite, there are also PCs in the main library area. There are also printing and scanning facilities, NHS wifi connection and 2 docking stations for laptops.

We have 3 soundproof study pods at the Hanley Library. These are available on a drop-in basis but they can be reserved if required for a specific time. To reserve, please contact the library staff.

IT @ The Sanderson Library Resource Room, Ormskirk Hospital

There are PCs available in the Sanderson Library Resource Room. There are also printing and scanning facilities available and NHS wifi connection.
